Secondly, the price to access parts data is not changing. The additional cost is only associated with the out-of-date version of PartSmart you are currently using.
Unfortunately, as technology evolves it becomes increasingly more expensive to maintain out-of-date technology to power older products. Advancements in technology is the primary reason we rebuilt PartSmart from the ground up - so it would operate on the latest and most secure technology - but most importantly to keep your price to license PartSmart as low as possible.

Yes, you can continue to use PartSmart 8 until August 2024. However, if you do not upgrade to PartSmart 10 by that date, you will be charged a higher rate for your license renewal.
