The cost to use PartSmart 8 Software is going up starting November 2023.

First, it's very important to understand you can upgrade to the latest version of PartSmart at no additional cost.

Secondly, the price to access parts data is not changing. The additional cost is only associated with the out-of-date version of PartSmart you are currently using.

Unfortunately, as technology evolves it becomes increasingly more expensive to maintain out-of-date technology to power older products. Advancements in technology is the primary reason we rebuilt PartSmart from the ground up - so it would operate on the latest and most secure technology - but most importantly to keep your price to license PartSmart as low as possible.

Be advised, if you choose to renew the old PartSmart 8 Software License at the time of your annual renewal:

  1. You will be charged an additional cost of $250.
  2. The cost will be billed monthly, or annual per your billing arrangement.
  3. License keys will not be generated beyond November 2024. When the PartSmart 8 software license key expires in 2024 you must upgrade to PartSmart 10 to continue receiving parts data.

To avoid the additional cost of using PartSmart 8, we are pleased to offer you the latest version, PartSmart 10 at no additional charge!

PartSmart 8 is retiring.

Beginning November 2024 PartSmart 8 will be permanently shut down. To avoid interruption in service it is important that your dealership start using PartSmart 10 today!
