1How can I tell what version of PartSmart I have loaded?
It’s easy. Open PartSmart. Click on Help, then select About on the Menu Bar and the PartSmart version will display. NOTE: The OEM data version you have installed is displayed in the top right area of your screen.
2Do you have to keep entering a license key with each update?
NO. In PartSmart, the license key that you receive for an OEM is valid for your 12-month subscription to PartSmart. As long as the OEM has a status of “VALID” displayed on the opening screen, you do not need to enter the license key.
3We are unable to find the License Key that should have been with our PartSmart CDs. How do we obtain another?
It’s easy. Go to myARI and enter your email address and your ARI customer number; click on Submit. If you are unfamiliar with using MyARI, call Client Services 1-800-558-9044 for help.
4Are there going to be any more updates on the old PartSmart?
We are working with all OEMs to move them to PartSmart, which will take some time. During this conversion period, you should install any PartSmart 6 or PartSmart updates that you receive.
